Lost in Plain Sight

Haaretz, the Israeli newspaper, recently published a long article on a “lost” novel by David Voge recently recovered.  I find it very interesting how the vicissitudes of history, human error and greed, and pure accident, can lead to one of Vogel’s novels being lost in plain sight and then found again.

I suppose the only heartening element of the story is that Vogel’s work, seventy years after his murder by the Nazis, can still make headline news in Israel.
