I have been counting lately. It is just that time of life for me. I have written 28 reviews for Colorado Review since 2015. Reading a book for review provides many gifts: it is gives me the opportunity to learn about topics I would often not normally engage, to focus on the author as architect of their vision and how they flesh it out, and myself as a writer, trying to stay open to new visions and styles.
