Ban the Frack

My new town, Ulysses, appears poised to ban hydrofracking by updating its zoning laws.

This is a far cry better than the Town of Caroline, where a move to ban banning was just recently defeated.

So far, the towns of Dryden and Ithaca have effectively banned hydrofracking. I hope (and trust) that Ulysses will soon join them; from my understanding, the town council is firmly behind it.

When need to send a firm and unwavering message that fracking has no place in Tompkins County.  It is the desire of the the very few to impose their will on the many.
